This piece has been inspired by the above quote (written by Lorenz) taken from a dream the character Andruid has. After encountering a Lich in the ruins of an archeological excavation site, it has been revealed that the tower is in fact part of an ancient city named LED which Andruid has encountered during his studies of ancients texts in the Pali forest near Chandreskar.
Since I felt drawing the scene I had in mind from scratch was rather unrealistic given my god-given talents for drawing, I took this as an opportunity to explore how Blender looks today and to see how it has evolved since from when I last Blendered regularly, which was ~11 years ago. I can say that today Blender has to be the most comprehensive and capable piece of open-source software I have ever encountered.
